My name is Daria Brislavets. I was born in Kharkiv, Ukraine, and lived there my entire life until 2022. After the war began, I spent two years in Germany, and for over a year now, my family and I have been living in the United States — a country that has become our second home and a place where we finally feel safe.

I hold two university degrees: one in Economics, focused on business organization and marketing, and another in Education. For five years, I taught economics at a lyceum (a specialized high school) in Ukraine, combining theory with practical real-world examples. At the same time, I ran my own small online business, which gave me valuable experience in entrepreneurship.

After moving to the U.S., I took time to reflect on how I could apply my background in a meaningful way. I found the perfect opportunity at Advantage Remodeling and Roofing, where I can grow as both a marketer and an economist. This field is familiar and exciting to me, and I see plenty of potential for professional development.

The American market has its own specifics, which makes the learning process even more engaging. I actively pursue professional development through courses, especially those offered by Contractor Nation, with whom Advantage has an official partnership. We regularly attend in-person trainings and participate in online programs that help us grow as a team.

What I appreciate most about Advantage is that it’s a family-owned business that truly cares about quality and pays attention to details. For me, this is more than just a job — it’s a place where I feel I belong, where I can contribute, grow, and be part of something meaningful.
