During an unusually cold and snowy winter in Texas, a burst pipe flooded our client's home, damaging the entire first level. As general contractors, we managed the entire restoration process, from the initial assessment to final touches.

A Winter Transformation Story

During the snowy winter in Texas, our client faced an unexpected challenge – a burst pipe due to freezing temperatures flooded the entire first floor of their home. The damage was severe, but we didn’t just restore the kitchen – we transformed it into a brand-new, stylish, and modern space!

After the full roof replacement was completed, we had to replace the chimney flashing. We submitted a supplement, and once we got all the necessary approvals from the insurance company, we got to work. So, what did we do? We installed synthetic underlayment as a moisture barrier, replaced the chimney flashing, as well as the siding and trim around the chimney. Once the materials were in place, we sealed the chimney with acrylic caulk, applied paint putty, and finished it off with a coat of latex paint.

This entrance door replacement was part of the interior remodeling for our client.  So it was exactly the case of water damage where there was water everywhere.

The client called us urgently and said that his pipe burst. Much of the inside of the house needed to be restored, including the wooden front door, which had a frame swollen from moisture, and it stopped functioning properly.

During the front door replacement, we upgraded the old one to a new, taller wood door with a built-in transom window. This significantly enhanced the entryway's appearance, making it look moor modern and stylish.

This before-and-progress photo pair shows a garage exterior siding restoration project in Allen, TX. The original upper siding was removed so the wall framing, sheathing, trim lines, and attachment points could be inspected before the exterior was rebuilt. Instead of simply covering the old surface, the repair process allowed the wall assembly to be checked for hidden damage, moisture exposure, and weak areas before new siding materials were installed.

The damaged and aging siding was replaced with a stronger fiber cement siding option, commonly known as Hardie plank siding, which offers better durability, improved weather resistance, and a cleaner finished appearance than the original exterior material. After the siding replacement was completed, exterior paintwork was also performed to help protect the new siding, match the home’s appearance, and provide a finished look.
