2 Ways to Protect Your Outdoor Faucet from Freezing | Both Actually Work

In this video, Boris shows two effective ways to protect an outdoor faucet from freezing during winter weather We tested two different freeze protection methods, and both of them worked perfectly: Method #1 – Standard foam faucet cover A common store-bought insulated foam cover designed to protect outdoor faucets from freezing temperatures. Method #2 – Old-school dad’s method (champion style ) Following dad’s advice, Boris wrapped the faucet with a towel and secured it tightly with duct tape. When Boris removed the wrap and turned the water back on — everything worked flawlessly! As Boris said himself: “Old school works like a champion.” Sometimes simple solutions are just as powerful as modern ones. If you’re dealing with winter weather and want to avoid frozen or burst pipes, this video will help you choose a solution that actually works.
